Our Artists' Open Call
In the multiplicity of meanings “Home” can take, we ask you to reflect on the ways you experience home, connectivity, community, and what it means to feel belonging. We are pairing with Mustard Tree, a non-profit organization with a mission to “create opportunities for people to help themselves through providing practical support, friendship, connections into work, improvements to health and wellbeing plus new experiences to encourage aspiration”. We are looking for works of art to be sold; Ancoats Pop Up will take a 15% commission on works with a portion of the proceeds going to Mustard Tree.
The exhibition will take place September 24th at the Old Naval Yard warehouse in Ancoats, Manchester. The space will be curated to reflect a sense of home and encourage conversation and appreciation of local artists. We encourage artists to create in response to the theme as well as submit relative existing works. We welcome 2D, 3D, film, and audio with a limit of 3 submissions per artist.
Submission Deadline is August 21st 11:59PM
Acceptance emails will be sent August 26th
