Festa Junina at Cutting Room Square
Festa Junina is a Brazilian festival which translates to 'June Festival'. It takes place in Brazil in June and originated in the countryside but now is celebrated in all major cities as well.
Its traditional folk music, art, food and performances are famous and bring Brazilian people from all backgrounds to celebrate together.
This year Ancoats Pop Up is collaborating with the amazing team at The Flat Baker to bring you a famous Brazilian street party 'Festa Junina'! This event will be Manchester's BIGGEST Brazilian Culture festival to date! The event will take place 9th & 10th July at our beloved Cutting Room Square in Ancoats! We are welcoming Brazilian traders in Manchester to come and share their food, drink, artwork and live performances with the city. Come and enjoy the creativity, vibrancy and celebrations! Children, families and dogs all welcome.
After last year's incredibly successful Festa Junina we are so excited to bring it back bigger and better - we can't wait to share this with you!
